Is my pet too old to be trained?
No! The old saying that "an old dog can't learn new tricks" is a myth. We have worked with dogs of all ages, from puppies as young as 8 weeks to senior dogs in hospice care. Because our training approach is non-intrusive it is suitable for all ages.
What is your approach to pet training?
We utilize the LIMA approach - LIMA stands for Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive. This is the approach endorsed by the International Association Of Animal Behavior Consultants, and you can read more about it here. We offer holistic, non-intrusive training that looks at the entire picture of behavior. We utilize positive-reinforcement training to change how our dogs feel and choose to behave. We promote constructive alternative behaviors to reduce undesirable behaviors.
